How We Maintain Strong Lines of Communication

We continually strive to strengthen the ties between children and parents. You are the center of your child’s universe, and it is very important to us that you share your child's day-to-day activities. Parents are vital to us, and we strive for strong lines of communication between children, staff, and parents.

Monthly Newsletter

We send a newsletter home monthly, highlighting activities and events, as well as pertinent information.

Weekly Take-Home Sheet

In our toddler, nursery, and pre-K classrooms, weekly sheets are sent home each Friday describing classroom activities. They include questions to ask your child about what they have learned, reminders for parents, and more.

Daily Notes

Parents with children in our infant and toddler programs receive daily notes about children's activities, appetites, naps, and diaper changes.

Bulletin Board

There is a bulletin board outside each classroom with posted items of information and interest.

Our Philosophy

The health, safety, and well-being of your child is our priority. We believe children should receive a balance of nurturing, playtime, and learning throughout their day. We believe children gain confidence, self-esteem, and a love of knowledge through hands-on learning, which appeals to their imagination and creativity. We believe children need a structured yet flexible environment that is pleasant, bright, warm, and caring in which to grow and learn.

Since 1978, we have believed in offering family-centered care. Our directors and teachers welcome your feedback and ideas. Please feel free to talk to us at dropoff and pickup times, or call us at any time during the day with questions or concerns, or to check on your child. You are always welcome to set up a parent/teacher conference. Feel free to take advantage of our open-door policy and come in for a visit.

Our staff is highly trained and our program is designed to stimulate and nurture your developing child. We have committed ourselves to making this a positive and rewarding experience for our children, parents, and staff.
